As time progresses

I have to say that as the sunny days are withering away and the clouds and chilly air are settling in, it is finally occuring to me that it is going to be quite cold here pretty soon. I can't even imagine what it is going to be like living in feet of snow. I am hearing that it can get into the negatives and snow usually stays around six months; I'm not sure how I feel about that yet!

This week has been great, I would have to say the best one yet. It has been pretty peaceful. I have been able to spend more time with others and meet new people. I definitely enjoy getting to know people on a more personal level. I enjoy little things such as going to class and then realizing it has been cancelled for the day, impressing myself by playing a good game of pool, or pumpkin spice frozen yogurt! (So yummy :))

This week we had the craziest nerf war! Boys (and some girls) from three different dorms all playing a very intense game of nerf war in my dorm building. It was crazy but so much fun to watch. It is also Homecoming week, so there is a different event every day. There haven't been too many exciting things yet, but tomorrow is the football game and dance. I am looking forward to that!

There isn't a whole lot of new and exciting news on my end, I am just continuing to settle in and grow more comfortable with being here and being with those I live with. I am very excited for my family to come and visit me! I am counting down the days until I see them and until my sister stays with me in the dorm (which I cannot even express how excited I am for that!) Two weeks from today they will be here, and that should be a great weekend, I can't wait!
